Sell diamonds in Houston

If you're thinking of selling a diamond, the most useful thing to know first is how resale works. Here's the honest version, from our Gessner Road counter.

Houston store

2635 Gessner Rd, Houston, TX 77080
Mon to Sat: 10 AM to 5 PM. Sunday closed.

What we buy

If it's on this list, bring it in. The evaluation is free.

  • Loose diamonds
  • Engagement rings and solitaires
  • Diamond earrings and pendants
  • Tennis bracelets and anniversary bands
  • Stones with or without a grading report

Why resale is below what you paid

The price you pay at a retail jeweler includes the store's markup, its rent, its advertising and the labor in the setting. When you sell, the stone is valued as a stone. That's why resale offers anywhere are usually well below the original price tag, even for a good diamond.

What holds value best is a natural diamond with a grading report, good color and clarity, and a strong cut. Bring the report if you have it, and we'll show you where your stone lands.

How it works

Simple, fast and done in front of you.

  1. Bring your items

Walk in during store hours or book a time. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID.

  2. Free evaluation

We test and weigh each piece in front of you and explain how the offer is put together. No obligation.

  3. Get paid on the spot

Accept the offer and you're paid before you leave. Decline it and you take everything home.

Common questions

Is it worth getting a grading report before selling?

For larger stones it can be. For smaller ones, the cost of the report can outweigh the difference it makes. Ask us and we'll give you a straight answer.

Do you buy damaged diamond jewelry?

Yes. Broken settings and bent prongs don't change the stone itself.

What about lab-grown diamonds?

Let us know if a stone is lab-grown. They're valued very differently from natural diamonds.
